Base Altitude: Gulmarg is located at an altitude of about 2650 m, above sea level. Top Altitude: The highest accessible region of Gulmarg for skiing stands at a height of 13,858 feet (4,224 metres), above sea level. Acclimatisation Tips on Gulmarg Ski Altitude

As you move further to higher altitude, try to ascend one step at a time. Gradual movement will give your body some time to adapt to the environment.
Consume a diet that is high in carbs to fill up energy and protein rich for proper health of bones. Keep it light. Heavy eating often results in vomiting at high-altitude. Even when you are not thirsty, drink water at regular intervals to avoid dehydration. Keep a reusable water bottle all the time as it comes handy.
Before the actual day of skiing at Gulmarg, remain relaxed and avoid any kind of physically demanding activity at least a day or two before.
It might sound hard but it is highly suggested to avoid alcohol as it increases the chances of altitude sickness and leads to dehydration as well.
